Mississippi State University-Assistant Professor of English (Tenure Track)
The Department of English at Mississippi State University invites applications for a tenure-track position for assistant professor. PhD in English or closely related field (or ABD with degree completed by 8/15/19) in ethnic American literary and cultural studies. Although the area is specialization is open, we are particularly interested in scholars working on Native American, Latinx, or Asian American literature. This is a 9-month appointment beginning August 16, 2019.
Minimum Qualifications: Must have an earned Ph.D. in English or closely related field (or ABD with degree completed by 8/15/2019) in ethnic American literary and cultural studies, also college teaching experience. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
