The CLA Journal (ISSN 0007-8549) is a peer-reviewed quarterly publication by the College Language Association. It is issued in March, June, September, and December of each year. CLAJ publishes critical essays on African Diasporan language, literature, and cultural studies; seminal interviews; and book reviews.
How to Access CLAJ
Current members of CLA have full access to digital copies of all CLAJ issues. This unqualified access allows them to peruse and download content in PDF format from each journal issue at any time. In order to access them, CLA member must log into their account, and then return to this page.
Non-CLA members can join the CLA to gain access to each issue of the CLAJ. All issues of CLAJ are available on JSTOR for digital download.
